How many treatments will be needed?

You may require several treatments. The number will depend upon your specific problem and response to therapy.
• Emergency conditions are often treated with 1 - 10 treatments over the course of a week.

• Long-standing infections and other chronic wounds may need 20 - 50 treatments over the course of several weeks.

• Patients in the hospital will generally be treated twice a day.

• Outpatients will be treated once a day for five or six days a week.
